Basketball Recap: Northeast Skates Past Wilton with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They blew past the Wilton Beavers, posting an 81-43 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win (which was Northeast's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Wilton, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast will welcome Cascade at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cascade will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Northeast surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Regina at 7:30 p.m.
