Softball Game Preview: Celina Bulldogs vs. Wapakoneta Redskins

The Celina Bulldogs will challenge the Wapakoneta Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Celina 2.9, Wapakoneta 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Celina fell victim to Lincolnview and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Wapakoneta owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They came out on top against Coldwater by a score of 4-0.

Celina's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Wapakoneta, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Everything went Celina's way against Wapakoneta in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Celina made off with a 7-1 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Redskins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
