Baseball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee lost against Agape Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Redskins lost 14-4 to the Knights. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Agape Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shawnee will take on Zeigler-Royalton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tornadoes' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Redskins' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Agape Christian, they will face off against Century at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
