Soccer Recap: Swett Takes a Loss

Swett lost against Kennedy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Swett Warriors might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Kennedy Eagles an easy 13-1 victory. The loss leaves the Warriors without a win on the season.

Their goal came courtesy of John Godoy, which was the first he's scored this season.

Swett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Kennedy, they now have a winning record of 3-2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swett and Urban will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Urban will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Swett surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kennedy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hercules at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.
