Baseball Recap: Sacred Heart Beats Crowley for Their Third Straight Victory

Sacred Heart entered their tilt with Crowley on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Gent 13-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 back in February.

Sacred Heart's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Crowley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart will venture away from home to square off against Opelousas Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crowley, they will head out to challenge Delcambre at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
