After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Timberlake, Orofino was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over the Kellogg Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Maniacs, who have now won nine contests by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Reece Deyo made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   five  hits (and not a single walk). That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted  over her last eight  games. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news, Orofino got a  massive  performance out of  Sierra Tondevold, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.  Rilee Diffin was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
Orofino's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 11-7. As for Kellogg, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record  this season.
Orofino will have a chance to go back-to-back against Kellogg: the pair will be back at it again later today.
