Ellison is a perfect 10-0 against Waco since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Lions at 5:30 p.m. Waco took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ellison, who comes in off a win.

Ellison took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Chaparral 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Ellison wouldn't go down easily and took Chaparral into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 16-25, 20-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Waco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Belton.

Ellison's win bumped their record up to 5-29. As for Waco, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.

Everything went Ellison's way against Waco when the teams last played back in September, as Ellison made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
