Baseball Recap: Red Mountain Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Red Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They skirted past the Cherry Creek Bruins 5-4.

Drew Hanen looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Kale Thorson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He also launched a home run, marking his first of the season. Mathew Garcia was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
