North Oldham faced Ryle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Raiders. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won three matchups in a row.

North Oldham's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Ryle, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

North Oldham has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Dayton on the 18th. As for Ryle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sayre on the 19th.
