Basketball Recap: Ohio E Comes Up Short

Ohio E was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 57-32 to Harvest Temple Christian Academy. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-15.

Harvest Temple Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xander Barnes, who posted five points in addition to eight assists, seven steals, and six rebounds. Barnes has become a key player for Harvest Temple Christian Academy: the team is 8-3 when he posts at least three steals, but 6-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Travis Weirich, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 15 points and four steals.

Ohio E's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Harvest Temple Christian Academy, their record now sits at 14-11.
