Volleyball Recap: Nine Straight Home Wins for Mulberry

Mulberry came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mater Brighton Lakes Academy Broncos. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

One reason for the win was Mulberry's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Mateus Cusmanich paced Mulberry's offense, picking up 20 kills. Cusmanich got some help from Jayden Williams and his 35 assists. Ernesto Rangel controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
