Basketball Recap: Evansville Harrison Takes a Loss

Evansville Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 77-56 to the Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-56 last Wednesday.

Evansville Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Evansville Mater Dei, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Evansville Harrison has already played their next contest (against Muhlenberg County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Evansville Mater Dei is taking a road trip to face off against Vincennes Rivet at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Evansville Mater Dei knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Vincennes Rivet likes a good challenge.
