            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Cincinnati). They took their  matchup  on Saturday with ease, bagging  a  40-12 victory over the Stivers School for the Arts Tigers. The Eagles' offense checked out after the first half but had enough  points banked to take the game anyway.

 Jordan Jacobson had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 64 yards and two  touchdowns on only five carries. He is becoming a predictor of Cincinnati's success: when he posts  at  least two  rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cincinnati was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 257  rushing yards. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they've run for more than 200 yards.
 Cincinnati's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  eight times. Stivers School for the Arts' QB  won't forget  Judah Liske anytime soon given he sacked him twice.
The  win made it two in a row for Cincinnati and  bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 27.5 points over those games. As for Stivers School for the Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Cincinnati has already played their next contest,  a  13-0  win against C4 E on the 27th. As for Stivers School for the Arts, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vanlue at 7:00  p.m.  on October 3. The Tigers will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.8  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
