Volleyball Game Preview: Wray Eagles vs. Brush Beetdiggers + How To Watch

The Wray Eagles will head out to square off against the Brush Beetdiggers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wray is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Wray and Burlington, and Burlington kept the tradition alive. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17, 14-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Brush came up short against Resurrection Christian on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-15.

Wray's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Brush, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Wray took their win against Brush when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
