Soccer Recap: Concord Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Concord Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 6-2 to the Greenwood Mennonite Flames. Concord Christian Academy were not able to make up for their loss to Greenwood Mennonite from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Gabriel Franco wasn't going to let Greenwood Mennonite walk away unscathed as he scored both of Concord Christian Academy's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Concord Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Greenwood Mennonite, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Coincidentally, Concord Christian Academy and Greenwood Mennonite will both be playing Faith Baptist School the next time they take the pitch. The Minutemen will head out to face the Falcons at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Flames will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
