The Brennan Bears will take on the Warren Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Brennan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Warren's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Brennan easily dispatched Stevens on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Bears fell just short of Taft by a score of 8-6 on Tuesday. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brennan got a good showing from Bryannah Campos, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off four hits. Campos has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Christen Brinkman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Farrah Lemus was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Harlan, falling 8-1.

At the plate, Warren saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yaya Castillo, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Warren's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Brennan has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Warren, though, as they've been averaging only 3.6 strikeouts. Will Brennan keep running through batters, or will the Warriors buck the trend?
Brennan took their win against Warren in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
