Baseball Game Preview: Irvington Vikings vs. Mission San Jose Warriors

Irvington is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Mission San Jose a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Irvington Vikings will host the Mission San Jose Warriors at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Irvington fell victim to Berean Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Eagles.

Irvington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Jaksa, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Mission San Jose scored first but ultimately less than American in their game on Friday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4.

Mission San Jose's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Irvington, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-7.
