Basketball Recap: The Woodlands Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The Woodlands Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders, falling 54-17. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Leading Concordia Lutheran to victory were KAITLIN RICH and MEGAN INGRAHAM. RICH went 5 for 7 on her way to 13 points and five steals, while INGRAHAM posted eight points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave INGRAHAM a new career-high in assists (three). Kinley Coleman was another key player, putting up six points.

The Woodlands Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Concordia Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Woodlands Christian Academy will welcome Cypress Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Concordia Lutheran, they will face off against Calvary Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
