Football Game Preview: Haslett Vikings vs. Western Panthers + Official Tickets

Haslett has gone a perfect 3-0 against Western recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Haslett's defense has only allowed 14.6 points per game this season, so Western's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Haslett beat St. Johns 21-13. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Redwings: they've now won five in a row.

Kory Amachree had a dynamite game, rushing for 57 yards and one touchdown, while also picking up 44 receiving yards and one TD. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western). They managed a 32-28 victory over Northwest on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their eight-point performance the game before.

Western's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Haslett, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything went Haslett's way against Western in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as Haslett made off with a 42-21 win. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
