Football Game Preview: Trezevant Bears vs. Sheffield Knights

The Trezevant Bears will face off against the Sheffield Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Trezevant came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 49-6 defeat at the hands of Mitchell. The Bears have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Sheffield fell victim to Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering and their airtight defense two weeks ago. They had to suffer through a 46-0 loss at the hands of the Phoenix. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Phoenix are ranked 129th).

Trezevant's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Sheffield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
