Baseball Recap: Sycamore Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Sycamore not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19th (when they won 12-1). They blew past the Ottawa Pirates 8-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 14-10 victory on Tuesday.

Sycamore's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-9. As for Ottawa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-13.

As for Ottawa, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Rochelle at 4:30 p.m. The Pirates are facing the Hubs at the right time seeing as the Hubs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
