Volleyball Recap: Sunnyslope Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with O'connor

Sunnyslope faced O'Connor in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Eagles. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sunnyslope's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for O'Connor, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Sunnyslope has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Liberty on the 11th. As for O'Connor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Sunrise Mountain on the 11th.
