Soccer Recap: Foothill Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Foothill was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the Arvin Bears could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Foothill's goal came courtesy of Josue Chavez, who's now up to seven this season.

With that draw, Foothill's record moves to 9-5-2. Meanwhile, Arvin's record is now 6-9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foothill will venture away from home to face off against Golden Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Golden Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Foothill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arvin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mira Monte at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mira Monte is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
