Basketball Game Preview: East Fairmont Bees vs. Frankfort Falcons

The East Fairmont Bees will head out on the road to face off against the Frankfort Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Fairmont has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, East Fairmont turned things around against Grafton on Thursday. They secured a 52-47 W over the Bearcats.

East Fairmont found their leader in sophomore River Mcclain, who went 7-for-10 on his way to 23 points and four steals. Mcclain is becoming a predictor of East Fairmont's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 2-1 (and 6-11 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Cole VanGilder, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Frankfort hadn't done well against Hampshire recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Frankfort blew past Hampshire 52-31.

Frankfort now has a winning record of 10-9. As for East Fairmont, their record now sits at 8-12.

Everything went East Fairmont's way against Frankfort in their previous matchup back in February of 2015, as East Fairmont made off with a 59-35 win. Will East Fairmont repeat their success, or does Frankfort have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
