Volleyball Game Preview: Basha Bears vs. Casteel Colts

The Basha Bears will take on the Casteel Colts at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Basha: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Casteel has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Basha came up short against Chandler on Friday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 25-15.

Casteel won the last time they faced Millennium, and Will Schneiderman did his part to make sure it happened again. The Colts walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers on Thursday thanks in part to Schneiderman, who had 27 digs and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games he's played.

Casteel got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 37-39, 27-25, 25-22.

Basha's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Casteel, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-11-1 record this season.
