Basketball Game Preview: Kingsbury Falcons vs. Whitehaven Tigers

Kingsbury is 0-7 against Whitehaven since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Kingsbury Falcons will welcome the Whitehaven Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kingsbury is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 56-25 defeat at the hands of Memphis Central.

Despite the loss, Kingsbury saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Maleah Ward posted 15 points. That was a full 60% of Kingsbury's points, marking the 14th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, Whitehaven ended up a good deal behind White Station on Tuesday and lost 45-29. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kingsbury's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Whitehaven, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
