Basketball Game Preview: Manchester Panthers vs. Tuslaw Mustangs

Manchester is 0-10 against Tuslaw since February of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Manchester Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Tuslaw Mustangs at 7:00 p.m.

Manchester is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Saturday. They were outmatched by Canton Central Catholic and fell 81-44. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 733rd, while the Crusaders are ranked 239th).

Meanwhile, Tuslaw didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Canton Central Catholic on Monday, but they still walked away with a 57-51 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Tuslaw is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Manchester, their loss dropped their record down to 2-19.

Manchester took a serious blow against Tuslaw when the teams last played back in January, falling 57-12. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Manchester was down 47-7.
