Baseball Game Preview: Millard Eagles vs. Water Canyon Wildcats

Millard is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Water Canyon a 17-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Millard Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Water Canyon Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Millard fell victim to South Sevier and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 18-0 to the Rams. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since back in March.

Meanwhile, Water Canyon came up short against Kanab on Tuesday, falling 19-1.

Water Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Millard, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

Millard took their win against Water Canyon in their previous matchup on April 1st by a conclusive 16-2 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
