Softball Game Preview: Paulsboro Red Raiders vs. Gateway Regional Gators

Paulsboro hasn't had much luck against Gateway Regional recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Red Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gators at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Paulsboro managed to slip by Collingswood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Raiders lost 13-2 to the Panthers last Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Gateway Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Collingswood, falling 7-0.

Gateway Regional saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Lezotte, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Gateway Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Paulsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
