Football Recap: Loretto Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Loretto made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Riverside, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 23-20 on Friday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Loretto's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Riverside, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Loretto will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Summertown on October 10. The Mustangs will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.67 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Riverside, they will head out to face off against Huntingdon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
