Volleyball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Heard County Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11.

Valley now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Heard County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-12.

Coming up, Valley will welcome Elmore County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heard County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Troup County on the 13th.
