Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Landstown). They blew past the Manor Mustangs 25-4 on Wednesday. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Ashlyn Tolbert made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Tolbert was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two triples and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Landstown got a massive performance out of Hailey Akers, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Those seven RBI gave Akers a new career-high.
