Volleyball Recap: Valdez Triumphs

Valdez saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the West Valley Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

Despite the loss, West Valley had strong showings from Deonys Ioane, who had nine digs and five kills, and Kamryn Hubbell, who had eight digs, five kills, and two aces.

The win got Valdez back to even at 1-1. As for West Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Valdez didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Meridian on the 23rd. As for West Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 23rd.
