Basketball Game Preview: Wahoo Warriors vs. Palmyra Panthers

The Wahoo Warriors will square off against the Palmyra Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wahoo will be strutting in after a victory while Palmyra will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, Wahoo earned a 47-38 win over Plattsmouth. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Gretchen Seagren was nothing short of spectacular: she almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 19 times she's played. Erin Golladay was another key player, putting up nine points and five steals.

Meanwhile, Palmyra was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 36-31 to Nebraska City.

Palmyra has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Wahoo, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
