Basketball Recap: Dalton Academy Takes a Loss

Dalton Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Oakwood Christian Eagles, falling 48-14. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pumas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-27 back in November of 2024.

Dalton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Oakwood Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dalton Academy will take on Whitwell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oakwood Christian, they will face off against Berean Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
