Football Recap: Cahokia Comanches vs. Marion Wildcats
Cahokia waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 28-22 W against the Marion Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Comanches, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
A big part of Cahokia's win came down to the chemistry between Nigel Gooden and his top target Hartles Holman. Gooden threw for 201 yards and two TDs while Holman picked up 78 receiving yards and one touchdown. Holman showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 61 yards.

Cahokia was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 286 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
