Volleyball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

Greenville lost against Maryville Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Comets fell 2-0 to the Lions. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10.

Ava Potthast paced Greenville's offense, picking up five kills. Potthast got some help from Haylee Hediger and her five assists.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Maryville Christian, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Greenville has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Altamont on the 6th. As for Maryville Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Althoff Catholic on the 6th.
