Softball Recap: Philadelphia High School for Girls Takes a Loss

Philadelphia High School for Girls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Frankford Pioneers. If the GAZELLE were looking for revenge after losing 18-3 to the Pioneers when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Philadelphia High School for Girls' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Frankford, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Philadelphia High School for Girls will head out to face off against High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on the 9th. As for Frankford, they will be playing at home against South Philadelphia at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
