Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beaver). They put the hurt on the Hopewell Vikings with a sharp 7-1 victory on Monday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

Beaver hit Hopewell with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mia Furda (2), Alaina Mollura (2), Anastacia Hahn (2), and Jocelyn Biela.

Beaver now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Hopewell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6-1.

Coming up, Beaver will face off against Ambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hopewell, they will challenge Quaker Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Quaker Valley will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Hopewell surely won't give up without a fight.
