Softball Recap: Medway Beats Milton for Their Third Straight Win

Medway strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Milton Wildcats 9-1.

Ally Fagan made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Fagan was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Olivia Klaus, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Alessandra Cautilli was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Medway's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Medway will challenge Norton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season. As for Milton, they will head out to face off against Walpole at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
