Basketball Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short

Auburn lost against Freeman back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Auburn Bulldogs took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Freeman Falcons.

Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Freeman, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Auburn will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ashland-Greenwood at 2:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Freeman, they will take on Syracuse in a tournament on December 28th.
