Softball Game Preview: Blanche Ely Tigers vs. Piper Bengals

The Blanche Ely Tigers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Piper Bengals at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Blanche Ely can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Wednesday. They lost 15-0 to Fort Lauderdale. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Fort Lauderdale hit Piper with a 15-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bengals came up short against the Flying L's, falling 16-0.
