Skyline fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against West Point on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 6-5. The Coyotes' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Thor Pelczarski was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Grant Taylor was cooking despite his team's loss, earning one run and three stolen bases.
