Kyle Downer and Mike Wandey provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Lee. The longest such play in AAA Concorde this season, the connection resulted in 75 yards.

Westfield extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Fairfax, 35-3. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

Oakton's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Downer threw for 89 and one touchdown and Wandey had 89 yards receiving. On the ground Downer chipped in 110 yards.

Chad Wiggins made the biggest impact on defense this week as Centreville bested Hayfield. The 6-foot-1 junior racked up three sacks.

6-foot-2 quarterback Scott Walter of the Wildcats is the league leader in passing yards this season with 432. He has also thrown five touchdowns. On the ground, the Cougars' Downer has rushed for 521 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kelly Brooks-muse. The Oakton star has nine catches for 143 yards.

The marquee game in AAA Concorde this week will be the clash between Chantilly and Westfield. The Chargers enters the contest ranked 21st in the state, while Tom Verbanic's team ranks 12th.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Oakton takes on Herndon. Jason Rowley's team's offense has recorded 178 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Hornets have permitted only 165 on the year.

Centreville and the Hawks played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Centreville eventually emerging with a 17-16 victory. AJ Turner ran for 88 yards and caught one passes for four yards in the win.
