Pana had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 5-1 to make it four. They claimed a resounding 62-20 win over the Staunton/Bunker Hill Bulldogs. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.
Pana had a senior duo take command as Parker Moore threw for 236 yards and four touchdowns on only ten passes and Cash Lynch gained 137 total yards and three touchdowns. Those four passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Moore. Derrek Ambrose got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Pana, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Ambrose, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
