Spanish Fort's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Gulf Shores Dolphins. Given the Toros' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Dolphins are ranked 141st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ethan Spuler and Dylan Gaynor scored all three of Spanish Fort's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Spanish Fort is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-3 record this season. Gulf Shores' defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8-2.
