Soccer Game Preview: Springfield vs. Beavercreek

Springfield is 0-10 against Beavercreek since September of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Beavers at 7:15 p.m.

On Thursday, Springfield didn't have quite enough to beat Greeneview and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Beavercreek hasn't lost a match since September 16th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Elder a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Beavercreek, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Beavercreek is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five matchups. As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

Springfield might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Beavercreek in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
