Volleyball Recap: Napoleon Triumphs

Napoleon hadn't done well against Bryan recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Golden Bears by a score of 3-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since August 28, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Napoleon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-17.

Hannah Miller paced Napoleon's offense, picking up seven kills. Miller got some help from Taylor Borton and her 17 assists. Borton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Napoleon now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bryan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Napoleon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Fairview on the 25th. As for Bryan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Paulding on the 25th.
