Soccer Game Preview: Arvada West vs. Adams City

The Arvada West Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Adams City Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arvada West will be strutting in after a victory while Adams City will be coming in after a defeat.

Arvada West proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by four) and last Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand Denver North a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Arvada West were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Blakely Erickson, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Adams City's offense. They lost 7-0 to Arapahoe last Thursday. Adams City have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arvada West now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Adams City, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
