Olympian waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against Southwest EC by a score of 6-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Olympian also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Sophia G Aquino spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jaiden Liera was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Heaven Mirelez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Olympian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwest EC only posted a batting average of .160.

Olympian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Southwest EC, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Olympian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-5 win against Hilltop on the 12th. Southwest EC has also already played their next contest (against Calexico), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
